Before we work together, I want to be clear about what this is — and what it isn't. Not because I'm protecting myself from you, but because you deserve to know exactly what you're walking into. Real work requires real agreements.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of charlotterogg.com and any services offered by Charlotte Rogg ("I," "me," or "my"). By using the Site or booking a session, you agree to these terms.

What I Do — And What I Don't

I am a spiritual director, writer, and End-of-Life Doula. I work with people navigating grief, loss, and major life transitions — especially the kinds that the world doesn't have good language for yet.

Spiritual direction is not therapy, counseling, psychiatry, or any form of licensed mental health treatment. I am not a licensed therapist. Our work together is not a substitute for clinical care, medical advice, or crisis intervention — and I will never present it as such.

I believe deeply in the reality of spiritual experience. I do not believe I have the authority to tell you what to believe, what God looks like, or what your grief means. My role is to be a witness and a guide — not an authority over your inner life.

I believe grief is real, universal, and often terrifying. I do not believe it needs to be sanitized, rushed, or explained away before it deserves attention. I will not push you toward meaning before you are ready.

I do not practice within any single religious tradition. I work with people of all faiths, backgrounds, and none. I will never use our sessions to recruit you toward a particular belief system.

This work is deep, but it is not emergency care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of suicide or self-harm, or any situation requiring immediate intervention, please contact:

I care about your safety. That is precisely why I am clear about the limits of what I can offer.

Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling

Sessions are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Because I hold space specifically for you, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • 48+ hours notice: Full credit toward a rescheduled session

  • 24–48 hours notice: 50% credit toward a rescheduled session

  • Less than 24 hours / no-show: Session is forfeited; no credit or refund

I understand that life is unpredictable — especially for people going through hard things. If an emergency arises, reach out directly at charlotterogg@gmail.com and we will work something out.

Payment

All session fees are due at the time of booking unless a payment plan has been agreed upon in writing in advance. Payment plans are available for the Metamorphosis Method (nine-session package) and are arranged individually — please inquire before booking.

Prices listed on the Site are in USD and are subject to change. Any change in pricing will not affect sessions already booked and paid.

Refunds

Single sessions that have already taken place are non-refundable. For packages, if we agree to discontinue work together before the package is complete, you will be refunded for unused sessions at the per-session rate.

Confidentiality

What you share in our sessions stays between us. I will not disclose the content of our sessions to any third party without your explicit written consent, except where I am legally required to do so — for example, if there is an imminent risk of harm to you or another person.

I may discuss my work in general terms for professional development, writing, or teaching purposes, but I will never identify you or share details that could identify you without your permission.

Intellectual Property

All written content on this Site — including essays, frameworks, methodologies, and course materials — is my original work and is protected by copyright. You may share links to my work freely. You may not reproduce, adapt, or republish my writing without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

I show up fully to this work. I also cannot guarantee specific outcomes from spiritual direction — grief is not a problem I can solve for you, and transformation does not run on a schedule. By working with me, you acknowledge that results vary by individual and that I am not responsible for decisions you make based on our sessions. My liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the session(s) in question.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
